Lifely are looking at commencing services in our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team in Kerang and are seeking expressions of interest from dedicated, passionate, and committed Residential Support Workers who would provide direct care to a Supported Independent Living (SIL) Participant. Contributing to a person-centred care model that goes above and beyond, we aim to make a positive difference in people’s lives every day and build strong relationships.

 

If you’re interested in joining a potential new team of dedicated, passionate, and committed Residential Support Workers, please submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) which includes availability, preference for part-time or casual, reasons you’re keen to work with Lifely and general background/interests. If we proceed with this service, staff would be part of a team providing 24/7 individual support and care to a resident living in SIL. Staff would also be given ongoing personal and professional development opportunities in a positive and supportive workplace culture. Team member would be required to work up to 2 overnight (non-active) shifts per week.

 

EOI applicants for these positions will have:

  • A qualification and/or experience in Disability Services/Aged Care/Individual Support/Home and Community Care or similar field. Applicants with lived experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong ethics and genuine approach towards participant dignity and safety and Work Health and Safety.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, resilience and respond positively to change.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Well-developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Dedication to their job and their team.
  • Good presentation and a professional attitude.
