NDIS Support to Exercise

Did you know our Community Support Workers can help you stay fit and active? Whether you’d like to join a sporting group, exercise at home, or visit the gym, bike trails, or pool, we’re here to support you. Lifely’s support workers are passionate about health and fitness and can work with you one-on-one or alongside a friend to help you achieve your goals.

With a support worker, you could:

  • Take weekly trips to the local pool for swimming or water aerobics.
  • Go cycling on scenic bike trails or explore new walking tracks.
  • Attend fitness classes or gym sessions with personalised guidance.
  • Play team sports, like basketball or netball, with help to learn new skills.
  • Get motivated with at-home workouts tailored to your ability.

Adding health, fitness, and social participation goals to your NDIS plan is simple. Start by choosing activities you enjoy and identifying how they’ll benefit you. Consider the support you’ll need, such as transport, equipment, or a support worker, and include these goals in your next plan review. NDIS funding can cover training, personal trainers, or support workers to help you stay active and reach your goals.
