We seek a dedicated, passionate, and committed Residential House Supervisor to lead a team of support workers providing direct care to our Supported Independent Living participants.

The successful candidates will be part of a team providing 24/7 individual support and care to our participants, contributing to a person-centred care model that goes above and beyond. Every day you will be making a positive difference and building a relationship with our Participants.

Hourly rate is paid as per the SCHADS Award Classifications and on qualifications and experience commencing at $36 per hour part-time employees plus salary packaging to reduce the tax you pay and increase your take-home pay (as per PBI status). As an employee, you’ll be given opportunities for ongoing personal and professional development and positive and supportive workplace culture.

Availability is required for at least 4 days during the week/weekend from 3pm until 10pm with at least 2 of these days requiring overnight shifts (non-active) from 3pm until at least 9am the following morning.

 

The ideal candidates for these positions will have:

  • Leadership skills and experience to lead and maintain a dynamic team to achieve effective results
  • Efficiency in the use of technology and administration experience including ensuring finance and appropriate records are maintained.
  • A qualification or experience in Disability Services/Aged Care/Individual Support/Home and Community Care or similar field. Applicants with lived experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong ethics and genuine approach towards participant dignity and safety and Work Health and Safety.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, resilience and respond positively to change.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, including emails.
  • Well-developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Dedication to their job and their team.
  • Good presentation and a professional attitude.
